The AneoEngine Operating System Please read the LICENSE before software redistribution. You can either burn a CD/DVD or flash a USB with the AneoEngine.ISO file. You can also boot it via virtual machine as long as yours supports CD-ROM disc drives, which most of them do. I recommend QEMU because audio works and it's very fast. All operating system source code (excluding the compiler) can only be compiled using my AneoC compiler, which you can get by downloading the source code. To compile with my AneoC compile, make sure the compiler itself is compiled (execute "./Compiler/CTC.sh"), and executing "./build.sh". That build script will assemble AneoEngine's bootloaders and compile the kernel's source code. The build script will create an "AneoEngine.ISO" file in the folder. You can also run the ISO (make sure you have QEMU installed) by adding the "-RC1" argument to the end of "./build.sh". Any errors that occur in the build process is entirely on you sense AneoEngine compilation requires minimal dependencies and everything has been tested perfectly on Debian stable. AneoEngine is supported by any 32-bit CPU, any 64-bit CPU that supports Legacy BIOS boot will also run AneoEngine. ARM-64 and RISC-V are not supported. AneoEngine requires at least 50 kB of RAM. AneoEngine files are initialized via the official shell script which scans files from the "Root" folder in the AneoEngine source code, and makes AnchorSand commands of them and puts them into kmain. I know this sounds inefficient, but it happens VERY fast. AnchorSand is a custom filesystem that is used exclusively in AneoEngine and doesn't support FAT12 or FAT32, but is 100% open-source. All the source code, including the compiler, can be found at the AneoEngine official website, and the repository. https://roccohimel.github.io/AneoEngine/ Required build dependencies: - AneoC Compiler (included in source) - gcc - nasm - genisoimage - qemu-system-x86 (optional)
